$25 Single
$40 Couple
$10 Day Pass
What is included in the admission fee?
The $25 Single and $40 Couple admission passes includes a rally packet, camping on Friday and Saturday night, Saturday night barbecue dinner, bike show registration and voting, admission to Saturday night movie, opportunity to have you and your bike photographed by lensmeister Dave Omer, spectator admission to the Trials competition, and more.
The $10 day pass is for those folks who are not camping or eating. Pretty much everything else is included.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes. The Harvest Classic is a family friendly event. Kids under 12 get in free. Many of us have kids, and we work hard to insure that the environment is as safe and kid-friendly as possible.
How do I register for the Harvest Classic?
Pre-registration online or by mail has closed for the 2007 Harvest Classic. You will be able to register on-site on Friday afternoon or on the day of the event.
Why should I pre-register?
Pre-registration has closed for the 2007 Harvest Classic, but we like it when people pre-register, because it helps us to better plan for the event. In order to encourage pre-registration, this year we offered a complimentary rally t-shirt to all pre-registrants. This year, our friends and sponsors at RIDE TEXAS™ magazine offered a 1 year subscription to all rally pre-registrants! You are too late to pre-register for this year's rally, but check back earlier next year, because pre-registration is the best deal.
I pre-registered online. What’s next?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail. Your packet (including t-shirt) will be waiting for you at the registration table at the rally. Your copy of RIDE TEXAS™ will show up in your mailbox.
I sent in my registration form by snail mail. What’s next?
Pre-registration has closed for the 2007 Harvest Classic, but if you sent in your registration form prior to the Oct 7 cutoff date, your packet (including t-shirt) will be waiting for you at the registration table at the rally. Your copy of RIDE TEXAS™ will show up in your mailbox. We don’t send out a confirmation letter, as the postage costs money that we’d rather send to the Candlelighters.
I didn’t pre-register, but I want to attend the rally.
That’s no problemo! Just come on down and you can register when you show up.
I can only come out for one day. Which day should I attend?
Friday is pretty much for setting up camp, and visiting with other rally-goers. It’s very low key. Saturday is THE DAY. All events happen on Saturday, so don’t miss it. On Sunday, we have a breakfast ride, then everybody packs up, goes home, and collapses.
I pre-registered, but didn’t attend the rally. Can you mail me my shirt and rally packet?
Sure. Just send us a letter, with $5 enclosed to cover the postage, and we’d be happy to send you your rally packet and shirt.
Is anyone making money off the Harvest Classic?
No. The Harvest Classic is put together by a group of friends. We call ourselves the Central Texas Motorcycle Charities. None of us get paid. We do this because we want to make a difference in the lives of families who are living with childhood cancer. All money raised after expenses is donated to the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer program of Any Baby Can.
Can I bring my own alcohol to the Harvest Classic?
No. Luckenbach does not allow any alcoholic beverages to be brought in.
Can I bring my guitar and golden throat to the Harvest Classic?
Music is the backbone of Luckenbach. Just ask yourself one question. What would Willie do?
Is food available for purchase throughout the day?
There is a family-run concession stand right next to the dancehall. It is open for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. But save room for our Saturday night barbecue dinner. Our caffeine-fueled pit crew works all night to smoke the most tender, tastiest brisket you have ever sunk your teeth into. People love the food at the Harvest Classic rally.
Is there room for me to bring my huge RV?
Not really. We have a parking meadow for cars and trucks, but huge RVs have a hard time making the sharp turn required to get into the meadow. KOA and Armadillo Campgrounds are both within 5 miles for those who wish to bring huge RVs. If you have a smallish RV or pop-up trailer, you can park it in the parking meadow along the back fence.
Are hookups available for my RV?
No
Can I bring my dog or pet?
Yes, but all animals must be on leashes and on their best behavior. Please remember that this is a loud event with children present and we would prefer to not have any incidents. The animal's behavior reflects directly upon its owner, so any problems will result in the removal of both from the grounds.
What’s it like camping in the “Motorcycles Only” camping area?
It’s awesome. We don’t allow any cars, trucks, trailers or RVs into this area, so when you wake up, it’s just bikes and tents.
Are there showers and bathrooms?
Luckenbach doesn’t have any showers, but we have several port-potties. There are showers available for $3 at the Armadillo Farm Campground, which is less than a mile up the road. It’s money well spent! Find out more info here
Can I park my car in the “Motorcycle Only” camping area?
Any car parked in the “Motorcycle Only” camping area will be used as a trials obstacle. This is a motorcycle rally—leave your car at home…or at least leave it in the car parking lot…
Are vendor spaces available?
No. The Harvest Classic is not a commercial rally. We do offer our sponsors an opportunity to display their goods, but ask that nothing be sold. We want all rally attendees to buy lots of raffle tickets and bid on auction items, because we want to raise as much money for the Candlelighters as we possibly can.
How much are raffle tickets? Can I buy some in advance? Do I need to be present to win?
Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. They can be purchased at the rally. You have to be present for the raffle drawing in order to collect your prize.
Can I bring out a truckload full of old crap, spread it out on the ground, and sell it at the Harvest Classic?
No. But if you want to hang a “for sale” sign on a bike or two, we don’t mind.
I ride a (insert brand here). Can I come to the Harvest Classic?
All brands and riders are welcome at this event.
I ride a scooter. Will I be pelted with rocks and garbage if I come to the Harvest Classic?
Absolutely not! We love vintage scooters, and welcome scooterists to attend the rally. Scooters are cool.
I want to help you raise more money for the Candlelighters. What can I do?
Become a rally sponsor! Take a look at the sponsorship packet in the “Downloads” section of the website for more info. If you have any questions, send a note to info@harvestclassic.org , and we’ll get back in touch promptly.
