Mike Pawlowski
Hall of Famer!
Mike has attended every single Harvest Classic Rally. After the first rally, he approached us and said that he noticed that we didn’t have any Platinum Sponsors yet. He said that he wanted to throw down a challenge to others by signing up as our first Platinum Sponsor. Mike has been a Platinum Sponsor ever since. You might think that Mike is wealthy, with money to burn, but this isn’t the case. Mike is a working man with a heart made of gold that is bigger than the size of Texas. He just wants to make a difference in the lives of kids who are living with cancer. As the rally has matured, we have added lots of sponsors, and currently enjoy strong support from a loyal base of sponsors who totally get what the rally is about. But we will always remember Mike as the guy who led the charge. Thanks Mike for all that you do to support the Harvest Classic Rally!

Randy Voet
Hall of Famer!
Randy Voet has donated a motorcycle to be auctioned off for the past 2 years, and for 2011 he is doing it again. Randy is a unique man who really epitomizes the spirit of the rally, and we are proud to include him in the rally family.

John and Alice Flood (in memory of Alex Flood)
In 2011, John and Alice Flood contacted us, and mentioned that they wanted to donate a restored 1986 Suzuki GSXR750 in memory of their son, Alex Flood. As we talked, we learned that John had bought this bike new, and both he and Alex both had raced the bike over the years. After Alex’s tragic unrelated death, John went through the bike, fixed it up, had it repainted. It’s a truly stunning example of the early, lightweight & narrow GSXR. After he finished the restoration, John and Alice decided to donate it to us, in order to benefit the Candlelighters. It’s a story that really resonated with us here at the rally, and we were honored to offer the bike on eBay, where we sold it for over $3100 (somebody got as great deal!) Please take a moment in memory of Alex, and to honor of his parents, who made this generous donation in memory of their son, Alex Flood.

Alamo Drafthouse
We asked The Alamo Drafthouse to bring it, and they brought it in STYLE. Watching a movie on their 100ft inflatable screen and killer soundsystem, while laying on a blanket surrounded by 100s of other gearheads is something you won’t forget. last year, we played The Sound of Music…..KIDDING! We only play badass, hard to find moto-gems, and we have hit a few homers (as well as a few grounders) over the years. Stay tuned for a special screening this year.

Lone Star BMW/Triumph
Big thanks to our longtime sponsors over at Lone Star BMW/ Triumph. Each year, they hit us up with cash and raffle swag to support the Candlelighters. Lone Star is run by good people, and if you don’t believe us, just stop by some Saturday for coffee and tire-kicking. You”ll make new friends and probably walk out with some trick goodies from their well-stocked accessories department.

Opal Divine’s
Every year, our friends over at Opal Divine’s donate over 600 lbs of choice brisket and sausage for us to cook for the Saturday night barbecue dinner. That’s a lot of meat! Proprietors Mike and Susan are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and totally get what the rally is about. Next time you are in Austin, stop by one of their 3 locations and say hi!

Wells Fargo Bank
One of the barbecue chefs who works all night to smoke up the tastiest, moistest brisket is Dan Brown, who also has a day job as a Bank V.P. Dan introduced this rally to Wells Fargo, who likes our family-friendly mission, and decided to join as rally sponsors. Thanks Dan and Wells Fargo Bank for all that you do!

“FASTEST” and Media-X International
We’d like to thank Director Mark Neale and his producer Paul Taubleib of Media-X International (MXi), for setting us up to show FASTEST, Mark’s latest film about the world of Grand Prix Motorcycle racing.
Mark’s first film about MotoGP, “Faster,” was our first after-dinner movie, we were excited to show his second MotoGP film “The Doctor, the Tornado, and the Kentucky Kid,” a few years later.
This year we’re thrilled that Mark and MXi have pulled out all the stops so that we can show FASTEST just a few days after the American premiere – Thanks to Mark, Paul, Liuba, Stacy, and DanO for making it happen.
“Who’s fastest now?” Y’all are!!
