The $30 Full Pass includes a rally packet, camping on Friday and Saturday night, Saturday night barbecue dinner, bike show registration and voting, admission to Saturday night movie, spectator admission to the Trials competition, and more.
The $10 day pass is for those folks who are not camping or eating or entering a bike in the show. Pretty much everything else is included.

Can I bring my kids?
Yes. The Harvest Classic is a family friendly event. Kids under driving age get in free. Many of us have kids, and we work hard to insure that the environment is as safe and kid-friendly as possible.

Why should I pre-register?
Although 2011 pre-registration is now closed, we like it when people pre-register, because it helps us to better plan for the event, and gives us a little up-front money to help cover insurance, t-shirt printing, and other rally-related expenses. Additionally, all pre-registrants receive a complimentary rally shirt.

I pre-registered online. What’s next?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail. Your packet (including t-shirt) will be waiting for you at the registration table at the rally. In order to save money, we don’t send out a snail mail confirmation. If you miss the rally…
^ top
How do I register my club or a group? What if some of the people don’t have computers?
You can register up to 10 guests when you register online. Just make sure you tell us what size t-shirts your guests will require.  Register onsite in Luckenbach.

I didn’t pre-register, but I want to attend the rally.
That’s no problemo! Just come on down and you can register when you show up.

I can only come out for one day. Which day should I attend?
Friday is pretty low-key and is just setting up camp, visiting with other rally-goers, and riding tiddlers in the 100cc Fun Run. Saturday is THE DAY. All events (except the Fun Run) happen on Saturday, so don’t miss it. On Sunday, everybody packs up, goes home, and collapses.

I pre-registered, but didn’t attend the rally. Can you mail me my shirt and rally packet?
Sure. Just send us a letter, with $5 enclosed to cover the postage, and we’d be happy to send you your rally packet and shirt.
^ top
Can I send in my pre-registration by snail mail?
No, we no longer accept mail-in registrations. There’s too much risk of the mail-in registration getting lost, not getting a shirt, unhappy campers, etc.

Is anyone making money off the Harvest Classic?
No. The Harvest Classic is put together by a group of friends. We call ourselves the Central Texas Motorcycle Charities. None of us get paid. We do this because we want to make a difference in the lives of families who are living with childhood cancer. All money raised after expenses is donated to the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer program of Any Baby Can.
^ top
Can I build a roaring fire and embrace my inner cave man at my campsite?
Not this year, there is a 100% burn ban in effect, so please don’t make any fires.
^ top
Can I bring my own alcohol to the Harvest Classic?
No. Luckenbach does not allow any alcoholic beverages to be brought in.
^ top
Can I bring my guitar and golden throat to the Harvest Classic?
Music is the backbone of Luckenbach. Just ask yourself one question. What would Willie do?

Is food available for purchase throughout the day?
There is a family-run concession stand right next to the dancehall, which is open for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. For 2011, we have also arranged for some other food options, as the lines for the concession stand were getting a little out of hand. But please save room for our Saturday night barbecue dinner. Our caffeine-fueled pit crew works all night to smoke the most tender, tastiest brisket you have ever sunk your teef into. People love the food at the Harvest Classic rally!

Is there room for me to bring my huge RV?
No. We have a parking meadow for cars and trucks, but huge RVs have a hard time making the sharp turn required to get into the meadow. Also, if the meadow is wet, you will get stuck. KOA and Armadillo Campgrounds are both within 5 miles for those who wish to bring huge RVs. If you have a smallish RV or pop-up trailer, you can park it in the parking meadow along the back fence. The Harvest Classic is not optimized for RVs, and the RV parking area is a nice hike from the rest of the events. Bring a pitbike, you’ll need it!

Are hookups or electricity available for my RV?
No

Can I bring my dog or pet?
Yes, but all animals must be on leashes and on their best behavior. Please remember that this is a loud event with children present and we would prefer to not have any incidents. The animal’s behavior reflects directly upon its owner, so any problems will result in the removal of both from the grounds.

What’s it like camping in the “Motorcycles Only” camping area?
It’s freakin’ awesome! We don’t allow any cars, trucks, trailers or RVs into this area, so when you wake up, it’s just bikes and tents.

What are you doing to ensure a safe camping experience?
As Organizers, we owe it to everyone who participates in the Harvest Classic to provide a safe environment to rally around these old bikes. The Harvest Classic isn’t a Mad Max re-enactment or a place to sow one’s wild oats. The campground isn’t the burnout stage at the Cabbbage Patch. We want everyone to have a great time, meet new friends, see new bikes, and come away from the rally rally knowing that you have made a difference in a sick child’s life. We have given lots of thought over the year to how we can best help that happen in a manner which is in keeping with the spirit of the rally.

  • We work closely with the Gilllespie County Sheriffs Office
  • We have hired additional night-time security
  • We have developed a Security Team and will address aggressive behavior
If you have any security concerns during the rally, please seek out someone wearing a red staff shirt, and we will resolve the situation immediately.

Are there showers and bathrooms?
Sadly, Luckenbach doesn’t have any showers, but we have several port-potties. For a fee, there are showers available at the Armadillo Farm Campground, which is less than a mile up the road. It’s money well spent!

Can I park my car in the “Motorcycle Only” camping area?
Any car parked in the “Motorcycle Only” camping area will be used as a trials obstacle. This is a motorcycle rally—leave your car at home…or at least leave it in the car parking lot…
^ top
Can I roar around the campground at night, then back my bike up to a row of fine euro-machines, and do a burnout on them, rudely showering them all with dust and grit?
No. You will be detained while the sheriff is called, and you will be banned from attending the Harvest Classic in the future.
^ top
Are vendor spaces available?
No. The Harvest Classic is not a commercial rally. We do offer our sponsors an opportunity to display their goods, but ask that nothing be sold. We want all rally attendees to buy lots of raffle tickets and bid on auction items, because we want to raise as much money for the Candlelighters as we possibly can.
^ top
How much are raffle tickets? Can I buy some in advance? Do I need to be present to win?
Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. They can be purchased at the rally. You have to be present for the raffle drawing in order to collect your prize.

Can I bring out a truckload full of parts, spread it out on the ground, and sell it at the Harvest Classic?
No. But if you want to hang a “for sale” sign on a bike, or discreetly sell a few parts our of the back of your truck in the parking lot, we don’t mind.
^ top
I ride a (insert brand here). Can I come to the Harvest Classic?
All brands and riders are welcome at this event. If you want to show your bike, you’ll need a full pass, not a day pass. You should also read the Bike Show page.

I know the event starts Friday, but 2 days aren’t enough Rally for me. Can I camp starting Thursday?
Not in the Town of Luckenbach, they’ve asked us to limit the camping to Friday & Saturday nights. There’s a couple of campgrounds nearby, though, such as the Armadillo & KOA.

I ride a scooter. Will I be pelted with rocks and garbage if I come to the Harvest Classic?
Absolutely not! We love vintage scooters, and welcome scooterists to attend the rally. Scooters are cool. We even like mopeds if they are sufficiently pimped and mongrelized. Throw a kit on it!
