All proceeds (after costs) from the Harvest Classic go to benefit the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation. Money is raised through rally admission fees, donations from our sponsors, t-shirt sales, proceeds from the auction, and raffle ticket sales. The CTMC is a completely grassroots, all-volunteer organization, so there is no<\/strong> staff payroll or administrative fees to drain money away from the charity.<\/p>\n

We donate our proceeds to our local central Texas Candlelighters it is the most effective way to support the kind of locally-oriented, person-to-person programs that directly benefit children fighting cancer and their families. Programs that are not supported by any  other charity organization. <\/p>\n

We never thought we’d be even talking about a 20th Harvest Classic, but around #13, we did start dreaming about how cool it would be to raise a total of a million dollars for the Candlelighters. Well this year, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers over the last 20 years, we were able to do just that! <\/p>\n
