The 20th and Final Harvest Classic Rally was held in Luckenbach Texas on October 21 & 22, 2022.
We’d like to thank our sponsors and rally attendees for the years of support. See you down the road!
We are always looking for a few good, hardworking people to help us pull of this awesome event. If you are interested in volunteering your time for such a great cause, we would love your help!
We need all kinds of help, from assisting with admissions to cleanup Sunday morning and everything in between from nerd stuff like the website to busting suds in the kitchen. You’ll be working alongside some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet and make lifelong friends. Plus you’ll be making something great even more awesome!
Volunteers should plan to give a minimum of 4 hours of their time on one of the Rally days: Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (cleanup) to help in one of the event function areas. To thank you for your time, you will receive a weekend pass to the rally (including camping and BBQ) and a volunteer t-shirt. You will also receive tons of love and make new friends.
If you would like to volunteer, please send a message to [email protected], and our volunteer coordinator will be in touch to work out the deets.
Central Texas Motorcycle Charities (CTMC) is just a small group of people whose lives have been touched by pediatric cancer, and formed a 501c3 organization so we could do some good.
Some of us are childhood friends, others are newfound ones, and we all want to do what we can to help kids fight cancer.
Many of us work on this rally in honor and memory of Emma Duke, who passed away from Neuroblastoma at the young age of 4. Emma was the sweet daughter of Russell and Kathy Duke, and throughout Emma’s struggle against childhood cancer, the Candlelighters were always there to provide counseling, special events, Christmas toys, airline tickets for out-of-town treatment, and much more. Even though Emma is in heaven, there are still kids who are fighting cancer right now, and the Candlelighters are there to help them.
Our goal at CTMC is to make the Harvest Classic be the best rally you’ve ever attended and, most importantly, raise as much money as possible for this very worthy charity.
If you like farting around on little bitty motorcycles, then you might like the 100cc Fun Run, which is held every rally weekend on Friday afternoon. Check out the Events page for more info.
All proceeds (after costs) from the Harvest Classic go to benefit the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation. Money is raised through rally admission fees, donations from our sponsors, t-shirt sales, proceeds from the auction, and raffle ticket sales. The CTMC is a completely grassroots, all-volunteer organization, so there is no staff payroll or administrative fees to drain money away from the charity.
We donate our proceeds to our local central Texas Candlelighters it is the most effective way to support the kind of locally-oriented, person-to-person programs that directly benefit children fighting cancer and their families. Programs that are not supported by any other charity organization.
We never thought we’d be even talking about a 20th Harvest Classic, but around #13, we did start dreaming about how cool it would be to raise a total of a million dollars for the Candlelighters. Check out our progress below, and if you want to help us get there, you can hit the Paypal donation link, donate directly at the rally, or give us a shout!
