The Harvest Classic European and Vintage Motorcycle Rally is organized by Central Texas Motorcycle Charities a 501 c_3 nonprofit. All money raised at the rally (after costs) is donated to the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation. Thanks to our generous sponsors and rally-goers, we’ve raised almost $650,000,000 and assisted over 1,200 Central Texas families fighting childhood cancer through our partnership with Candlelighters since the rally began in 2003. With your help, who knows how much we can raise this year?
Central Texas Motorcycle Charities (CTMC) is just a name for a small group of people whose lives have been touched by pediatric cancer. Some of us are childhood friends, others are newfound ones, and we all want to do what we can to help kids fight cancer. Many of us work on this rally in honor and memory of Emma Duke, who passed away from Neuroblastoma at the young age of 4. Emma was the sweet daughter of Russell and Kathy Duke, and throughout Emma’s struggle against childhood cancer, the Candlelighters were always there to provide counseling, special events, Christmas toys, airline tickets for out-of-town treatment, and much more. Even though Emma is in heaven, there are still kids who are fighting cancer right now, and the Candlelighters are there to help them. Our goal at CTMC is to make the Harvest Classic be the best rally you’ve ever attended and, most importantly, raise as much money as possible for this very worthy charity.
All proceeds (after costs) from the Harvest Classic go to benefit the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation. Money is raised through rally admission fees, donations from our sponsors, t-shirt sales, proceeds from the auction, and raffle ticket sales. The CTMC is a completely grassroots volunteer organization, so there is no staff payroll or office rental fees to drain money away from the charity. Listed below are financial reports from all rallies.
